身体活动(Physical Activity,PA)与人体健康密切相关,适当的身体活动可以降低冠心病危险因素如高血压的发生率,而身体活动不足则可能导致能量代谢失衡,并带来一系列的健康问题。研究PA与健康和疾病的关系,每日PA的量化分类是十分必要的。目前在国际上,普遍使用身体活动水平(Physical Activity Level,PAL)来对每日PA进行量化和分类。PAL的定义是人体24小时总能量消耗(Total Energy Expenditure, TEE)除以人体24小时的基础能量消耗(Basal Energy Expenditure, BEE),即
